Brand
Visual identity, typography, color, imagery, messaging, consistency, and how the brand is expressed across key touchpoints.
I help organizations identify problems across branding, UX, UI, content, and digital experiences, then determine what matters, what needs attention, and what to do next.
Evaluate what exists. Identify what matters. Prioritize what should change. Define what happens next.
I provide independent expert audits of brands and digital experiences. The engagement is scoped around the areas that need attention, rather than forcing every organization into a predefined package. That might mean a focused review of one area or a broader assessment across several. The point is to understand what is working, what is not, and what deserves attention before committing to more production.
Visual identity, typography, color, imagery, messaging, consistency, and how the brand is expressed across key touchpoints.
Navigation, information architecture, content hierarchy, responsiveness, accessibility, performance, and the overall digital experience.
Interface consistency, interaction patterns, calls to action, usability friction, hierarchy, discoverability, and common UX issues.
AI-assisted content, imagery, interfaces, and customer-facing experiences, including generic language, factual or contextual problems, brand drift, inconsistency, unnecessary automation, and the places where human judgment has quietly left the room.
The goal is a concise, usable assessment and a prioritized roadmap. Findings distinguish between contained improvements that can be addressed now and systemic issues that require broader intervention.
Elements worth preserving rather than changing simply for the sake of change.
Contained issues that can often be corrected within the existing brand or experience.
Structural issues involving branding, information architecture, content, UX, technology, or the way AI is being used across the experience.
Prioritized recommendations and guidance on what can be handled internally and where specialist support may be useful.
Poor hierarchy creates confusion. Inconsistent interfaces create friction. Accessibility problems exclude users. Slow experiences contribute to abandonment. Weak messaging makes it harder for people to understand what an organization offers and what they should do next.

Published research and case-study findings provide context, not guaranteed outcomes. Results vary by organization, audience, traffic, product, and implementation.
The audit is designed to move beyond a list of design opinions. Good judgment requires more than spotting what looks wrong. Each significant finding connects an issue to its impact, a recommendation, an intended outcome, and the likely scope of implementation.
Review the existing brand, website, interface, content, and digital experience through the agreed scope.
Surface inconsistencies, friction, accessibility concerns, structural problems, and opportunities for improvement.
Separate immediate improvements from systemic issues so the organization knows what deserves attention first.
Define practical next steps and identify whether implementation can likely be handled internally or requires outside support.
I am a designer, creative director, UX/UI practitioner, front-end developer, and educator with approximately 20 years of experience working across brand and digital experiences.
My career has moved across disciplines that are often treated separately: branding, graphic design, creative direction, UX/UI, web development, content, and digital strategy. That experience shapes how I approach consulting today, particularly as AI makes producing more things easier while making judgment about what should exist more important.
Rather than looking at a website solely as a design problem or an interface solely as a UX problem, I examine how brand, content, interface, technology, and user experience work together.
Alongside my consulting practice, I am an Assistant Professor at Seton Hall University, where I teach UX/UI design, web development, graphic design, and interactive media. My research examines design, ethics, emerging technology, and the decisions embedded within digital experiences.
I'm not auditing your website so I can sell you a new website, and I'm not auditing your AI output so I can sell you more AI. My role is to identify what is working, what isn't, and what should happen next. Recommendations can be implemented by your internal team, existing partners, or outside specialists.
Discuss an AuditAn independent assessment can help separate surface-level problems from issues that require deeper attention and give you a clearer path forward.
